(Greg’s dedication for Gerg)
Greg Lawler constructed a beautiful bench in memory of Gerg at Brooks Institute’s Ventura Campus where Gerg worked in Information Technology. It is beautiful both in function and aesthetic.
The bench was important for Greg to build because working in IT, Gerg and Greg confronted problems on a daily basis that needed creative answers. Many times they ended up constructing some thing or program to solve the problem during the nine years they worked together. Construction and problem solving comprise their daily practice.
Today Gerg’s immediate family attended the dedication as well as some of his colleagues, including those who were close friends and love him dearly. Afterwards, we went to lunch at one of his favorite restaurants in Ventura.
